INSTALLATIONS MADE EASY WITH THE PRESTIGE "TOWER of POWER"
Thanks to the unique design of the Prestige self-supporting lift shaft, the building requirements for installation have been dramatically reduced .This has resulted in a truly affordable residential/commercial elevator,freight hoist or goods lift.
Traditional lift shafts require either at least one full structural wall or an entire structural shaft.This involves the services of a structural engineer, steel fabricators or a bricklayer to construct the wall or shaft.This is both time consuming and expensive. The Prestige tower has no requirement for these.
Many lift companies require timber stud work shafts fully lined internally surrounding the lift including a loadbearing roof as well as scaffolding & temporary door opening barricades all at the customers expense.The self supporting Prestige tower does not require any of these to complete the installation.
All lift doors have electrical/mechanical safety interlocks fitted to them, which if housed within a timber framed stud wall shaft are subjected to periodic movement much like all other doors in a home or building.This movement can cause reliability issues with the lift door interlocks resulting in the inconvenience of a breakdown (Most lift companies do not warrant breakdowns caused by shaft wall movement). E-Lifts doors,door frames & interlocks are incorporated within our steel tower eliminating the chance of a breakdown due to frame movement.
The design of the tower also enables the lift to be installed externally.This feature is extremely useful for retrofitting into existing buildings that simply do not have suitable internal space.
FLEXIBLE INSTALLATION PROGRAMMES
In most cases Prestige can install our self suporting tower within 6-8 weeks of receiving an order allowing construction to continue immediately surrounding the lift shaft.In fact the complete tower except for the lower floor entry can be finished off in a suitable material (cladding is for aesthetic reasons only).
FINISHES & OPTIONS
Prestige offer a range of 22 standard car interior colours as well as stainless steel or even raw MDF to complete the desired look yourself.
We also offer steel swing doors as well as solid core timber doors up to 2700mm high incorporating a concealed door closer. Our commercial range of lifts are all fitted with stainless steel centre or side opening doors.
