Commercial Lifts
With our commercial range of passenger & goods lifts E-Lift provide Architects & Builders with the option of E-lift supplying the lift in a self supporting steel tower (up to 14 passenger models) or constructing a structural shaft to house the lift.Thanks to the design of E-Lift’s unique self supporting tower/lift shaft the building requirements for installation have been dramatically reduced. This has resulted in a truly affordable commercial elevator.
There can be substantial savings made by "designing out" the structural shaft component of the building. The E-Lift self supporting tower simply requires a light stud wall to be erected around it & clad with a suitable material.
If required, fire rating of the tower can be achieved by utilising a fire rated plasterboard or a commercially available fire rated steel “Shaft Wall” system.
The design of the tower also makes our E-Lift the ideal solution when it comes to retrofitting a lift into an existing building either internal or external.
If there is a definite requirement for a lift shaft to aid in the structural integrity of the building we simply construct our lift within the confines of the shaft, either way we have a low level lift to suit most applications.
All our commercial lifts can comply with BCA E3.6 Facilities for People with Disabilities & disabled access sections of the lift standards if required.
E-Lift also specialise in the manufacture of ride on Goods Lifts to suit the requirements of retail, warehousing & self storage environments.
All of our lifts fully comply with all relevant sections of Australian Standard 1735 “Lifts & Escalators”.
